FRIDAY NIGHT SHOWERS
Friday will start out dry with some sunshine. Clouds will increase into the afternoon with developing showers in time for the evening commute. Rain will be heavy for a time during the evening hours, and I wouldn't be surprised by a rumble of thunder. The clouds and rain will keep temperatures a little cooler, so highs should reach the low to mid 60s midday then drop back into the 50s.
The showers will play a part in the Red Sox game at Fenway, though showers will diminish after first-pitch.
WEEKEND UPS AND DOWNS
Saturday will feature partly sunny and mostly dry weather as we'll be in-between systems. This is the pick of the weekend given the partial sun and highs in the 60s, possibly lower 70s!
Sunday will be cooler and wetter with scattered rain expected and more of the same Monday. This is all due to a cold pool of air spinning overhead.
That spin moves off Tuesday, allowing a warm-up to begin. We will be seeing 80s by the middle of next week!
