    WEDNESDAY MORE 70S
Most of southern New England will watch early fog burn off to a bright and warm day.  The biggest challenge today is the giant range in temperatures this morning... From 30s to 60s-no joke!  Make sure you check boston25weatherapp.com to see if you need a jacket when you head out to work.

It looks like day number two of record heat!   The record high in Boston is 63, and we will get there without a problem as highs hit the 70s again.

We have more mist and fog for a good chunk of the day on the South Coast, Cape and Islands.  Dense fog could linger into the afternoon there.  Theses spots will stay cooler with highs in the 50s.

    EVENING SHOWERS
A cold front will sweep over the region from north to south this evening.  Spot showers will be around for the evening commute and dinnertime with the possibility of a few downpours locally.  Activity looks hit-or-miss.  It will be dry again by midnight.

    BACK TO WINTER THURSDAY
The forecast gets tricky Thursday as the cold front stalls to our south. It'll allow cold air to continue to drain into southern New England. A wave on that front will bring more precipitation into town lunchtime through the afternoon.  It'll be cold enough for snow to mix in with the rain and create slushy accumulation.

Plan on slippery conditions in the afternoon with that wintry mix and snow.  It looks like a coating - 2" in the greater Boston area with less than an inch in southeastern MA and up to 3" at higher elevations.

There are more chances for rain or mixed rain, ice, and snow into the weekend.
