SUNDAY AFTERNOON DOWNPOURS
Showers and a few rumbles will pass by this afternoon along a cold front moving in from the west. Brief heavy rain and lightning as well as a few wind gusts will hamper some outdoor plans, then look for falling humidity and clearing skies this evening.
Clearing skies and drier air along with light northwest winds will allow temperatures to cool to nice "sleeping" conditions tonight. I expect lows in the 40s and 50s. Warm and mostly sunny conditions will be with us Monday afternoon, but without the sticky feel it'll be very pleasant. Another shot of rain may arrive Tuesday night, but overall the week will run dry and comfortable.
